Our audiobook creation and production services are among the industry's most affordable. Browse a few audio production websites. Not many publish direct rates. There's a reason for that. They want to start to make the sale before you face sticker shock.

    
     Texts In Audio provides free estimates too, but our pricing is transparent. We don't record "billable hours" of recording and editing time, and we don't add on fees for research, difficult material, or fixing our own errors.  You pay only for each hour of usable audio to which your customers can actually listen. We bundle every audio creation service you'll need into one simple fee:
 

$550 per delivered hour of playback.
 

 AUDIOBOOK DISTRIBUTION AND FULFILLMENT

     If you prefer that we also handle audiobook distribution for you, we will identify budget-friendly vendors and handle the required arrangements for you. This ranges from pressing and packaging disks, to setting up protocols or websites to accommodate internet downloads. For all such services we bill:

the direct vendor cost, plus 12.5 percent.
 

 RADIO ADVERTISING

     If you want to provide us the script, we can record it. If you want us to create your copy, we can do that as well. Our fees are contingent upon which services you choose, but the rate card is pretty straightforward. To ensure that you get what you pay for, we literally charge by the word:

 WRITING FOR OTHER AUDIO PROJECTS

     Ordinarily we record what you provide us. But when you ask us to write your content as well as record it, our writing fee is just as straightforward as our recording pricing. Because research and planning often take just as long for short projects as longer scripts, we have implemented a fee scale based on the script's word count. Upon script approval, we charge:

500 words or less:  $4.00 per word
501-2000 words:  $3.00 per word
2000 words or more:  $2.00 per word
 

 THE TEXTS IN AUDIO LOYALTY GUARANTEE

     Texts in Audio believes firmly that loyalty should extend both directions. We're confident that our quality will merit repeat business, but we also reward loyal customers with a price guarantee. If we raise our rates in the future, for any additional projects you have us produce during the following three years, we'll honor the rate published when you contracted for your first project.
 

 PAYMENT TERMS

    Given the enormity of the time commitment required to complete audio textbooks, we require an advance deposit of up to half of our project estimate. The remainder is due upon receipt of the finished audio.
