ABOUT TEXTS IN AUDIO: GOOD VALUES, GOOD AUDIO

Co-founders Scot Wilcox and Kathy Snow launched Texts In Audio in Spring 2008.

Scot has operated a boutique audiobook business for over three years, honing the craft and perfecting a home studio production model that enables our reasonable fee structure.

Kathy brings years of experience in radio and TV news creative and production, including significant voiceover work and a stint as an online video show anchor.

We have big plans, but elected to start modestly. Our growth depends upon producing engaging, high quality audio. We've concluded that the best way to ensure this is with a hands-on approach, mastering every step needed to complete textbook-to-audiobook projects.

As our business expands, we will personally train every new reader. We'll do this to ensure that every audiobook we produce meets our standards and your needs. And if there's a problem, we'll personally respond. In business as in life, The Golden Rule is a very good guide.

Kathy and Scot also expect to demonstrate that even in a competitive field like audio production, the most satisfying outcome is to do well by doing good. During Scot's years of advising and teaching nontraditional students at The University of Iowa, two facts became quickly apparent: 1) millions of people love learning; 2) there simply isn't enough time to cram it all in. By enabling lifelong learners and students to study while driving, exercising, and conducting daily business, audio textbooks make worthy self-improvement goals possible.
